This guidebook seeks to be a “living” document and will continue to be updated regularly as information
becomes outdated and new information becomes available. A version tracking chart is included in the
addendum which will track what information has been changed.

The hope is that this guidebook simplifies the process of recovery so that it is approachable and understandable, with tactics and strategies that can be applied by an individual landowner, a small water control district, or even an action or mitigation group to restore and protect the banks on their own property. Whatever your goal, the hope of the Soil and Water Conservation District is that this guidebook can at the very least give folks the information they need to aid in decision making.
